The 13th International Food & Drink Exhibition WorldFood Poland will take place on 13-15 April 2027 at the EXPO XXI Centre in Warsaw. After a record-breaking 2026 edition, the event returns as the key entry point to one of Europe's largest and most dynamic food markets and a must-attend date for international suppliers looking to establish or expand their presence in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe.

Why Poland matters to foreign food companies?

Poland offers international producers a rare combination of scale, growth and openness. With 38 million consumers, the country now ranks among the world's 20 largest economies by nominal GDP, and its food and grocery retail market is the sixth-largest in the European Union by value. Polish demand for imported products keeps rising. In 2024 alone, Poland imported over 42 billion USD worth of food, agricultural and related products. At the same time, the country's agri-food exports keep breaking records reaching 48.5 billion EUR in the first ten months of 2025, up 8% year on year (trade.gov.pl) which makes Poland not only a large consumer market, but also a re-export and distribution hub for the entire CEE region. For foreign brands, WorldFood Poland is the most direct route into this market.

A truly international exhibition

The international character of WorldFood Poland was clearly visible during the record 2026 edition. The exhibition brought together 370 and welcomed 7,535 trade visitors over three days.

Exhibitors from Poland and abroad (including Italy, Spain, Hungary, Slovakia, Ukraine, Estonia, Lithuania, Romania, Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Cyprus, Thailand, India and Korea) presented more than 1,300 brands, nearly half of them foreign products, many of which are not yet available in regular distribution in Poland. National Pavilions turned the exhibition halls into a genuinely global marketplace, where visiting buyers from retail chains, HoReCa, wholesale and e-commerce could discover new products and negotiate directly with their producers.

More than product presentation

WorldFood Poland connects the entire value chain of the food and drink sector from innovative products, through processing, packaging and cold-chain logistics, to effective sales. The exhibition has also become an important platform for industry debate: the 2026 edition featured expert discussions on the competitiveness of the EU agri-food sector, the strength of Polish food brands abroad and the role of organic food in collective catering. Exhibitors can additionally compete for the WorldFood Poland Gold Medal – a recognised quality mark awarded for product quality, taste, originality and market potential, which winners may use on packaging and in brand communication without time limits.

"I would like to invite everyone today to the next edition of the WorldFood Poland International Food & Drink Exhibition, which will be held on 13-15 April 2027 at the EXPO XXI Centre in Warsaw. I encourage companies to contact our team so that, together, we can create an even better event that responds to the needs of the entire industry," says Agnieszka Szpaderska, Business Development and Strategic Projects Director.
