UzBuild 2024 has a record breaking 40% increase in the number of new comers both local and international 

 

The 25th edition of Uzbekistan's premier construction exhibition, Uzbuild 2024, concluded with resounding success with 13 066 visitors and 450 International exhibitors from 19 countries, marking another milestone in its history. Held from 27 February to 1 March 2024, the event showcased the latest innovations, technologies, and trends shaping the future of the construction industry in Eurasia. 

 

Background 

 

UzBuild is an exhibition held annually in Tashkent, Uzbekistan centered around construction: equipment technologies, spare parts, finishing materials, elevators, wooden housing construction, construction chemicals, concrete, roofing, flooring and much more. There is a specialized section in this event named BuildTech which specifically concentrates on construction equipment and Technologies. Another notable show feature that takes place at the event is the International Conference of the Construction industry (ICCI) where international experts and specialists gather to discuss Uzbekistan’s booming construction industry and ways to enter the market.  

 

The UzBuild 2024 Event  

 

UzBuild 2024 was a phenomenal success as 40% of the exhibitors were first time participants from nations such as Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan, among others. Our esteemed returning exhibitors like BAUER Maschinen GmbH, TEKA Maschinenbau GmbH, Elkon, RTG Rammtechnik, and Progress Group whom have been steadfast supporters of the exhibition since its inception returned for this 25th edition of UzBuild. 

 

The ICCI conference served as a dynamic platform for industry professionals, manufacturers, suppliers, and stakeholders to come together, exchange ideas, forge partnerships, and explore opportunities for growth within the Eurasian construction Industry. The featured three-day conference hosted 25 international expert speakers from 8 countries over 5 sessions as well as 3 seminars and was attended by 622 delegates. The focus of this conference was sustainability, innovation, and collaboration, the exhibition highlighted Uzbekistan's commitment to driving progress and development in the construction sector. Only at the conference the discussion of urbanism in Uzbekistan and the execution of a project as ambitious as "New Tashkent" was especially fascinating. 

 

Additionally, UzBuild 2024 featured the BuildTech2024 section, dedicated to Construction Equipment and Technologies. This specialized segment showcased a diverse array of construction equipment, spare parts, and machinery for building material production. Notable industry leaders like Aircrete Systems B.V. (the Netherlands), Liebherr, Masa GmbH, Bauer Maschinen GmbH, Omag Maschinenbau, BHS-Sonthofen GmbH (Germany), Akkaya Makina, Boom Makina, Ceylan Makina, Ermak Makina, IBAR Makina, Gayret Makina (Turkiye), Bianchi Сasseforme, Schnell Spa, Simem Spa (Italy) and many others graced the event, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to UzBuild.

From eco-friendly materials to cutting-edge technologies, Uzbuild 2024 showcased the full spectrum of products and services driving the Eurasian construction industry forward. 

 

Networking Opportunities: Uzbuild 2024 provided quality networking opportunities, bringing together industry professionals from Uzbekistan and from around the world. Geography covered 19 countries of exhibitors and 34 countries of visitors. Attendees had the chance to connect with leading experts, explore potential collaborations, and gain insights into emerging trends and market dynamics. 

 

Knowledge Sharing: The event featured the ICCI Conference as well as a series of seminars, workshops, and panel discussions covering various topics relevant to the construction industry. Renowned experts shared their insights, best practices, and strategies for addressing key challenges and seizing opportunities in the rapidly evolving construction landscape. 

 

Business Development: Uzbuild 2024 served as a catalyst for business development, facilitating valuable interactions between exhibitors and potential clients. Exhibitors had the opportunity to showcase their products, demonstrate their capabilities, and explore new business prospects, while visitors gained access to innovative solutions and resources to support their projects.

Looking Ahead: 

 

As of January 1, 2024, Uzbekistan had 34,629 construction enterprises, with Tashkent hosting 7,408 of them, making up 21.4% of the country's total. This concentration highlights Tashkent's role in economic development. The rise in construction aligns with government efforts to boost growth, infrastructure, and investment, facilitated by regulatory reforms. Events like Uzbuild aid Uzbekistan's focus on infrastructure and urban renewal, fostering innovation and collaboration for continued progress in the construction sector.
