Almaty, 21 October 2026 – PowerExpo Almaty 2026 opens today at the Atakent International Exhibition Centre, welcoming energy professionals, equipment manufacturers and technology suppliers for three days of business networking and knowledge exchange. The 24th Kazakhstan International Energy, Electrical Equipment and Machine Building Exhibition runs until 23 October.

Held alongside Kazatomexpo 2026, the combined exhibition brings together 240 companies from 10 countries, including Austria, Belarus, Germany, Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Poland, Türkiye, France and Czechia. With 148 companies participating for the first time, the exhibitions introduce a broad range of expertise and opportunities for international cooperation.

PowerExpo Almaty showcases electrical equipment, cable and wire products, renewable energy technologies, automation, energy-saving solutions, heat supply and industrial lighting. Visitors can meet suppliers directly, compare technologies and discuss solutions for their operational and project requirements.

A key feature is the Energy Professionals Forum, taking place on 21 and 22 October. Its programme addresses the development of Kazakhstan’s energy system, modernisation of heat and power infrastructure, nuclear generation, investment and the evolving demands of the digital economy. Alongside PowerExpo Almaty, Kazatomexpo presents technologies and services spanning nuclear plant engineering, safety, the fuel cycle and waste management.

Since its launch in 2001, PowerExpo Almaty has provided an established meeting place for the energy industry, supporting professional exchange and commercial partnerships. This year’s edition continues that role by connecting technical expertise with opportunities to develop energy infrastructure and strengthen industry cooperation.

The organisers extend their sincere thanks to the exhibitors, partners, supporting organisations, speakers and visitors contributing to this year’s event, and wish all participants a productive and rewarding exhibition.
