The 30th Anniversary Kazakhstan International Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference – KIOGE 2026 – opens today in Almaty, marking three decades of connecting global expertise, advanced technologies and strategic opportunities across Kazakhstan’s oil and gas industry.
From 30 September to 2 October 2026, KIOGE brings together leading energy companies, government representatives, investors, technology providers, industry experts and decision-makers at the Atakent Exhibition Centre. The KIOGE Conference will take place concurrently from 30 September to 1 October at The Ritz-Carlton Almaty.
For 30 years, KIOGE has served as one of the Caspian region’s most influential oil and gas platforms, supporting international cooperation, knowledge exchange and the development of long-term business partnerships. Its anniversary edition celebrates this distinguished legacy while focusing firmly on the technologies, investments and strategic priorities shaping the next chapter of the energy industry.
More than 235 companies from 15 countries are participating in KIOGE 2026, demonstrating the continued international interest in Kazakhstan’s energy sector. The exhibition brings together major operators, engineering companies, equipment manufacturers, service providers and technology developers, presenting solutions across exploration, production, transportation, refining, petrochemicals, digitalisation, industrial safety and sustainable energy development.
Among the prominent industry organisations represented at the event are KazMunayGas, Tengizchevroil, the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, Eni, TotalEnergies, SLB, Halliburton, Baker Hughes and Petrom. Their participation reinforces KIOGE’s position as a meeting point for the companies and professionals driving the development of the regional and international energy landscape.
The anniversary exhibition provides participants with extensive opportunities to discover new technologies, meet potential partners, strengthen existing relationships and explore investment and procurement opportunities. A programme of business meetings and professional networking activities will further support direct engagement between exhibitors, buyers, government representatives and senior industry leaders.
The KIOGE 2026 Conference complements the exhibition with strategic discussions addressing Kazakhstan’s role in global energy value chains, the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning in upstream operations, the development of the gas and petrochemical industries, localisation, export logistics and the transition towards a lower-carbon economy. The programme will also explore energy security, new industrial policy, small modular reactors and Kazakhstan’s energy balance beyond 2030.
The 30th anniversary represents an important milestone not only for KIOGE, but also for the wider professional community that has contributed to its success. Over three decades, the event has evolved alongside Kazakhstan’s energy industry, responding to changing priorities while remaining committed to facilitating dialogue, innovation and international collaboration.
The organisers extend their sincere appreciation to the government authorities, strategic partners, sponsors, supporting organisations, speakers, exhibitors, delegates, visitors and members of the media whose continued trust and contribution have helped establish KIOGE as a respected international industry platform.
Special recognition is also given to the teams, partners and professionals who have supported the organisation and development of KIOGE throughout its 30-year history. Their dedication has been fundamental to the event’s lasting success and continued relevance.
As KIOGE 2026 officially opens its doors, the anniversary edition invites the global energy community to celebrate 30 years of achievement while building the partnerships and solutions that will define the industry’s future.
