In Azerbaijan, 2026 is placing the future of cities, infrastructure and the built environment firmly in the spotlight. By decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, the year has been declared the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture”, highlighting sustainable urban development, modern architectural approaches, innovative technologies and the adoption of international best practice as key national priorities. 

 

Against this backdrop, Caspian Construction Week, taking place from 14–16 October 2026 in Baku, will provide an important international platform for translating these priorities into business opportunities, partnerships and practical solutions. 

 

Bringing together construction, infrastructure, engineering, reconstruction, plastics and transport under one roof, Caspian Construction Week will connect local and international companies with industry professionals, government representatives, investors, developers and decision-makers involved in shaping the next generation of Azerbaijan’s urban environment. 

 

Five Exhibitions, One Integrated Industry Platform 

 

Caspian Construction Week brings together five specialised international exhibitions, creating an interconnected platform that reflects the many industries involved in building modern and sustainable cities. 

 

At its heart is BakuBuild, the 31st Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition, bringing together companies and professionals from across the construction and building materials industries. 

 

It will be joined by Aquatherm Baku, the 18th International Exhibition for Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, Water Supply, Sanitary and Swimming Pool, showcasing technologies and solutions that are increasingly important as buildings become more efficient, sustainable and technologically advanced. 

 

Rebuild Karabakh, the 6th Azerbaijan International Restoration, Reconstruction and Development of Karabakh Exhibition, will once again provide a dedicated platform for the extensive reconstruction and development taking place across the Karabakh region. The exhibition creates opportunities for companies to present technologies, materials and expertise that can contribute to the development of modern infrastructure and communities. 

 

Celebrating its fifth anniversary in 2026, Plastex Caspian, the Caspian International Plastics and Polymers Industry Exhibition, will highlight materials, manufacturing technologies and solutions serving construction and a wide range of related industries. 

 

Completing the programme is Road & Traffic, the 14th Caspian International Road Infrastructure and Public Transport Exhibition, focusing on the transport networks, road infrastructure and mobility solutions essential to the development of connected and accessible urban environments. 

 

Together, the five exhibitions demonstrate how modern urban development extends far beyond individual buildings. Successful cities depend on integrated construction, engineering systems, transportation, infrastructure, materials, technology and long-term planning.
